QSL Manager
Tim Beaumont MØURX

I got interested in radio about 35 years ago. In the year 2002 I passed my first Ham exam to get the call M3SDE. In 2008 I passed my Advanced exam to get the call sign MØURX.

I love DX’ing both DXCC and IOTA chasing on HF bands.
Operated as: MCØSHL on Ramsey Island, MU3SDE. ZK1SDE, North & South Cook Islands, 4W6A Atauro Island. Member of Strumble Head Amateur Radio Klub, Wythall Amateur Radio Club & Chiltern DX Club (CDXC)

Other interests: When I was first licenced I had a passion for QSL cards and wanted to provide a new type of QSL service. In 2007, with my friend Max ON5UR, the United Radio QSL Management Bureau was born. A one stop shop for DX’peditioners to find a professional QSL service where they could get QSL cards designed with “passion” and a QSL service that offered everything they needed all in one place.

In 2010 we set up our own Outgoing QSL Bureau, every year we post out to all IARU bureaus around 30,000 QSL cards. We also set up our own Online Business Account for UK based QSL managers with Royal Mail, this gives us the most competitive postal rates in the industry and allows DXpeditions to be more flexible with their QSL policy. Working together with other UK based QSL managers makes us a very strong team. Professionally, I have worked for Royal Mail since 1988. Even sorting and delivering my own incoming QSL cards!
