DXA information – DXA is a web application that accumulates information from a remote site using software that accesses a local database e.g., (a radio logging program such as N1MM+ being used on a radio DXpedition) and transmits it to a server. The information is accumulated over the duration of the operation, typically by updating it once per minute from the remote site, and is access by clients using a web browser pointed to the appropriate URL (currently http://www.dxa3.org).
Information you provide – The DXA site may accept the following information from you: Your amateur radio callsign, or the callsign of any other radio amateur, or any sequence of characters deemed valid by the website software, entered through a login box. We use the information you provide to respond to your entry, which is taken as a request for additional information, namely entries in the database containing records of contacts with the use of the DXA website software. The purpose of this request/response is to provide you with information about the data recorded in the DXpedition database, and to improve the DXA website software.
Log information – When you access DXA via a browser, our servers automatically record certain information. These server logs may include information such as your entered callsign, the Internet Protocol address, browser type, browser language, and the date and time of your request. This information may be combined with information such as your callsign that you enter.
User communications – When you send email or other communications to DXA, we may retain those communications in order to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services. If you provide your e-mail address, we may use that e-mail address to communicate with you about our services.
Accessing and updating personal information - No one can access the information in DXA for any purpose other than to respond to requests for that information, or to help resolve issues regarding that information.
Information sharing - Cordell Expeditions does not share any information you may enter with any third party, except to help resolve specific issues you may have about such information.
